This district is a buzzing hive of activity. Orien lightning rail coaches arrive and depart twice a day, and merchants and laborers are constantly loading and unloading crates of merchandise. Skycoaches and magic lifts are in constant motion, carrying travelers up to the higher towers.

Security is maintained by the Guardians of the Gate, a special guard company maintained by House Orien, and the Sharn Watch as one would expect.

The entrance to the city proper is known as the Black Gate, and it is defensible with the intent to withstand a full siege.

Nearby neighborhoods included Dragoneyes, a hub of dangerous, low-class entertainment, and High Walls, a walled district that currently houses a few thousand refugees of the destruction of the nation of Cyre.
